How to 0 leak connect PP pipe fittings to pipes

Step 1: Cut and Prepare the PP Pipes:Measure and mark the desired length on the PP pipes.Use a pipe cutter or hacksaw to make a clean, square cut at the marked location. Ensure the cut is straight and free from burrs.
Step 2: Deburr the Pipe Ends:After cutting, use a deburring tool to remove any sharp edges or burrs from the cut pipe ends. Smooth edges prevent damage to the O-rings inside the compression fittings and help create a watertight seal.
Step 3: Assemble the Compression Fitting:Slide the compression nut onto the PP pipe, followed by the compression ring (ferrule).Insert the pipe into the compression seat (body) of the fitting. Ensure it is fully inserted.
Step 4: Tighten the Compression Fitting:Hand-tighten the compression nut onto the compression seat until it's snug.Using a wrench or pliers, continue to tighten the nut in a clockwise direction. Be careful not to overtighten, as this can damage the fitting or cause leaks. Refer to the manufacturer's specifications for the recommended torque.
Step 5: Inspect for Leaks:Turn on the water or fluid supply slowly to pressurize the system.Check the connection for any signs of leaks. This includes looking for drips or moisture around the fitting.If you detect leaks, carefully tighten the compression nut slightly more, but avoid excessive force. Over-tightening can damage the fitting.
