A plastic ball valve is a quarter-turn valve used to control the flow of liquids or gases in piping systems. It's available in a variety of materials, including PVC, PP, UPVC, and PPR.

Inside, the plastic ball valve is a hollow ball with a central hole. The ball is attached to a handle that allows it to rotate. Rotating the handle 90 degrees (a quarter turn) aligns the hole with the pipe to allow flow, or perpendicular to the pipe to prevent flow.
